Problem :
Computer on the LAN segment of a RV042 Network is unable to pass network traffic to PPTP VPN site. Connection can be established and ping will succeed however, Remote Desktop (RDP) will not connect and Browser traffic will be intermittent. Other network traffic may also be affected but not confirmed.
Solution :
SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) cannot be enabled with PPTP passthru.
ALERT! - This will disable features of your Firewall! It is not a permanent solution. BUY A DIFFERENT ROUTER!
1. Disable PPTP Passthru
2. Disable SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection)
3. Enable PPTP Passthru
4. Remember to save all your settings and restart your VPN connections.
